If you unplug the data cable it will continue to have connectivity for some time until it drops for no apparent reason, or you reboot without the data cable attached. If you boot up with an Ethernet cable connected it all seems ok and will connect to wireless just fine. When the computer first boots it ether doesn't find any wireless signals or can't connect going into an endless cycle of acquiring a network address of witch it never finds. The symptoms seem to be a little inconsistent so before I give too much detail I'll give you the short version first. OK I'm having problem with my wireless adapter.
